Officiating will be Rev. Jess French. Serving as pall bearers are Ronnie Towie, Lee Towie, Mark Stanly Quinton, Christopher Two Shields, Wesley Shade, and Darrel Holcomb. Interment will follow in the Towie Cemetery under the care of Green Country Funeral Home. Katie was born in Tahlequah, the daughter of Jeff and Waiter (Miller) Towie on Feb. 3, 1918. She passed from this life on Oct. 7, at her residence in Cherokee County. Katie attended Sequoyah Orphan School until her senior year. She liked to use a cane pole and fish for perch. Enjoyed horticulture collecting wild flowers, and tree leaves. Baseball teams she liked were the St. Louis Cardinals, and Denver Broncos. She enjoyed watching "General Hospital". She was an avid Sequoyah Indians sports fan along with OU. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Johnson Wacoche in 2006, siblings Jennie Quinton, Alex Towie, Susie Thornton, Geneva Wilson, Louise Pritchet, and Jess Towie Surviving her are 11 children Nancy Howze, Watie Wacoche and wife Margie, Bonnie Two Shields, Benjamin Wacoche and companion Clarissa, Susahanna Martin, Allen Wacoche, Helen Wilder and husband Deany, Isaac Wacoche and wife Brenda, Mona Thompson and husband Eddie, Alex Wacoche and companion Juanita, and Joni Thompson and companion David, numerous grandchildren great grand children, great grandchildren, and many friends too numerous to mention.
