LYDIA CRABTREE PASSES AWAY Lydia Crabtree,56, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Emory Scott, passedaway at her home, Monday, September 29, at 6:20 after a lingering illness of eight years. She was born in Medoc, Missouri, June 18, 1885. She was married to C. E. Crabtree, July 20, 1907, in Joplin, Missouri. Mr. and Mrs. Crabtree moved to Tahlequah twenty-three years ago. She is survived by her husband Mr C.E. Crabtree, her parents, Dr. and Mrs.Emory Scott, two brothers, Mr. Charlie Scott of Barbar and Mr. Murry Scott of Coweta,four children, Mr. Hoyte Crabtree, Mrs. Louis Fesperman, Ruth Crabtree, and Jewell Crabtree. The services were conducted by Rev J.C. Hendrick of the Baptist Church. Interment was in the city cemetery and funeral arrangements were by Reed-Culver.
