Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ *************************************************************** TAHLEQUAH DAILY PRESS TAHLEQUAH, OK JANUARY 2002 LOUISE CROSSLIN Tahlequah--Funeral services for Louise Crosslin, 74, were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with David Young officiating. Interment followed in Tahlequah City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Jonathan Wells, Kenny Diffee, Doak Willis, Bill Willis Jr., Joe Crosslin, Bud Hardison and Ronnie Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Paul Beavers, A. Paul Crosslin, Danny Neldon, Herb Rozell, Ralph Burton and Leo Winters. Louise Crosslin was born in Sallisaw on May 29, 1927 to Alvon and May (Burton) Diffee. She married Paul Crosslin on July 18, 1942 in Fort Smith, Ark. Paul and Louise had two sons, Alvon Paul Crosslin and Norman Randy Crosslin. Louise owned and operated Crosslin Real Estate for over 48 years. She loved people and never met a stranger. She had a brilliant out-going personality and had the ability to make people feel comfortable. Louise had a deep love of life and her family and managed to live life to the fullest no matter the circumstances. She had a style and grace that was unique. Once you met her you never forgot her. She spent her life spoiling those she cared about and loved ever minute of it. Louise was a member of the Democratic Women and was very active in local and state politics. She was an excellent cook and loved to entertain. She will be missed deeply and loved forever. Louise was preceded in death by her husband Paul, her son Randy Crosslin, her parents, and two brothers, Conway and Norman Diffee. She is survived by Alvon and Billie Crosslin of Tahlequah; one brother, Alvon Diffee of Mannford; four grandchildren, Sandy and David Crosslin-Young, Alvon Paul and Marsha Crosslin, Patti and Jonathan Wells and Andrea Lane Crosslin, all of Tahlequah; four great-grandchildren, Jackson Wells, Dustin Crosslin, Mandy Crosslin and Noah Crosslin; and many loved ones and friends.
