He passed from this life on Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, after reaching the age of 47. Dale, better known as “Haney” by all his friends, was a longtime resident of Hulbert. Dale served in the armed forces from 1978 to 1982 with the 547th Engineer Combat Battalion. He was stationed in Germany. Dale was an electrician by trade, graduating from Okmulgee with an associate's degree. Dale always had a joke to tell and a smile on his face. He had a good sense of humor and could always find something to laugh about. He loved to hunt and spend time with his dogs. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Sudie Adair of Hulbert. His survivors include two daughters, Gina Danielson and husband Chris of Michigan, and Tressa Campbell and husband Joey of South Carolina; one son, Jacob Adair and wife Mindy, of Hulbert; his grandchildren, Kayla Danielson, Emily Danielson, Laura Danielson, Hunter Campbell and Hanna Adair; one sister, Marie Linch and husband, James Linch Jr., of Tahlequah; two brothers, Eugene Adair and wife Terrye of Hulbert, and Paul Adair and wife Cathy of Westville; several nieces and nephews; and a host of loved ones and friends. Services will be held at noon, Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, at Reed-Culver Chapel, with Rev. Willard Copeland officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Reed-Culver Funeral Home. Pallbearers include Tommy Bridges, Coy Barnes, Buffalo Whitekiller, Roger Farmer, Monroe Carey and Leroy Mayfield. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Thompson, Danny Walker, David Warden, Brandon Adair and Michael McNiel.
