He passed from this life on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, in Tulsa at the age of 79.Loy was a retired truck driver, having been employed by Ready Mix Concrete in Tahlequah and Muskogee for many years. He married Barbara Bolding on April 11, 1951.Loy attended the Methodist church, and loved spending time with his grandchildren and going to auctions.Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers, Bluford and Elza; and his sisters, Almus Anderson, Mabel McDonald and Audrey McDonald.His memory will be treasured by his survivors: his beloved wife, Barbara Howe, of the home; daughter, Sharon Copeland and husband, Justin; sons, Gary Howe and wife, Karen, and Terry Howe; six grandsons, Kevin Copeland and wife, Patricia, Jason Copeland and wife, Kimberly, Gary Don Howe, David Howe and wife, Ashley, Kyle Fisher and Kurt Fisher; nine great-grandchildren, Dylan, Holley, Madison and Garett Copeland, and Katlyn, Haleigh, Blaine, Tristan and Gillian Howe.Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, at Holland Cemetery, located behind Crescent Valley Church, with Rev. Bobby Long officiating. Loy’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
