January 13, 1939 Miss Lucindy Hornett Miss Lucindy Hornett, 31, nurse at the Hastings Indian hospital, died in Fort Smith hospital Sunday night, as the result of injuries received in an automobile accident near Mulberry Ark. Sunday morning. Miss Hornett had made her home in Tahlequah for several years. She was a graduate of Chillocco Indian school at Claremore. Funeral services were held at the Reed-Culver Funeral Home chapel Monday morning at 10 oclock, with Rev. J.C. Hendrick, pastor of the Baptist church officiating. Pallbearers were, Sam Daniels, Owen Grant, Dewey Carlile, W.T. Thorne, P.K.
