Information For Cherokee County: 
Margaret "Maggie" Maude Reeves

Margaret "Maggie" Maude Reeves, born December 7,
1885, to Amelia Selvey and John R. Reeves in Arkansas.
Maggie married Allen Bennett.  They moved to Tahlequah,
Cherokee County, and raised nine children.  Maggie was
part Cherokee.  Her father married three times and all his
wives were Cherokee.

Maggie (Reeves) Bennett died January 15, 1958 at her
home on Rt. 2, Tahlequah.  She was buried January 20,
1958, at Holland Cemetery, Cherokee County.  One of 
her sons, John Bennett, is also buried there, along with 
her husband, Allen Bennett.  Her father, John R. Reeves,
died at Maggie's home, December 25, 1935.  He was 
born at Springplace, Georgia.  He was buried at Pryor, 
Mayes County, Ok.
