She was born Dec. 28, 1929, in Muskogee, to Ernest and Rosie (Chandler) Edwards. She lived in Muskogee on and off, and traveled to different states with her parents while her father was in the army. Mildred has lived in Cherokee County and Tahlequah since 1963. She worked as a housekeeper for most of her adult life. Mildred had a passion for animals and dearly loved cats. She would take in any cat, and make sure it was fed and taken care of. She grew to love these cats as part of her family. Mildred was a very loving and caring woman. She was loved and respected by many and will truly be missed. Her body can now lay in rest and we can take comfort in knowing that she is at peace in heaven with Jesus. Mildred was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Edwards; one son, John Fred Robison; and two grandsons, Ronnie Robison Jr. and Richard Robison. She is survived by her mother, Rosie Edwards of Tahlequah; daughter, Rosalee Trammel of Tahlequah; son, Ronald Dale Robison of Broken Arrow; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Hoot Huggins of Muskogee; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Mary Edwards of Fort Gibson; former husband Fred Dale Robison of Tahlequah; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends. Services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at Millsap Chapel in Fort Gibson, with Brother Conrad Barrett officiating. Burial followed at Citizens Cemetery under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Fort Gibson.
