FUNERAL SERVICE FOR MRS. SAM  DAVIS 
[Mary Rebbeca Hall Davis], [Died-June 10, 1938]

Funeral services were held at 2 , o'clock In the First Christian  
church here Tuesday afternoon for . Mrs. Sam Davis, who died at her 
home about 6 oclock Monday morning as the result of several paralytic 
strokes. Mrs. Davis had been ill for about a week.
  Mrs. Davis had been a resident of Cherokee county for about 26 years. 
Prior to that time she and her family lived in Arkansas. She is survived 
by her husband and two sons, Huston [Houston] of Denver, Colo. and 
Dan, of Maud.
  Pall bearers included Clyde Cen­ter. G. 0. Carpenter, Glen Jackman, 
H. L. Stauss. L. M. Stauss, and Bill Hibbard.
  Interment was made in the city cemetery with the Reed-Culver Funeral 
home officiating. Rev. Virtes Williams had charge of the funeral services.
