Rex Hendrickson of Peggs Community Church presiding. Interment will follow services at Teresita Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah.Serving as Rosie’s pallbearers are Kevin Wofford, Brian McClelland, Toy Thilges, Jason Clift, Craig Mitchell and Leonard Blackfox. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Brian Mitchell, Bobby Kelley, Tim Kelley, Brian Kelley, Jeff Mitchell, Hank Wilson and Greg Kjonegard.Rosie Bell McClelland was born on in Mazie on April 25, 1927, the daughter of Roco Mitchell and Gracie (Degase) Mitchell. Rosie was a lifelong resident of Cherokee County. She married Toy McClelland in Wagoner on Oct. 5, 1949. She and Toy had three children. Rosie’s world revolved around her family. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and sewing. Rosie liked to go fishing, and she enjoyed cooking and canning.Rosie passed away in Muskogee on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at the age of 80.She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Toy; by four brothers, Oscar Mitchell, Elbert Mitchell, Jack Mitchell and Lloyd Isley; by three sisters, Ruth Manning, Ruby Snodgrass and Barbara Allen; and one grandson, Terry Wofford.Rosie is survived by daughter Ruby Wofford and her husband, Jim, of Tahlequah; daughter Linda Thilges and husband, John, of Peggs; son Jimmy McClelland of Locust Grove; her brother, Ed Mitchell of Moodys; her sister, Grace Kelly of Coweta; nine grandchildren, Kevin, Traci, Angie, Melanie, Toy, Dustin, Brian, Lorinda and Cindy; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
