Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. *************************************************************** Submitted by: Kay Hubbard Thompson TAHLEQUAH DAILY PRESS TAHLEQUAH, OK FEBRUARY 22, 2002 TAHLEQUAH-Funeral services for Joyce Richmond, 67, of Hulbert, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2002 in Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Rowan officiating. Burial will follow in the Hulbert 100F Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Heath Oates, Bryce Oates, Eric Oates, Rusty Henson, Shane Kooker, Clyde Alvin cooper Jr., Gary Dean Cooper and Davey Porter. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Henson, Randy Henson and Heath Richmond. Carrie Joyce Richmond daughter of Edgar Lawrence and Bertha Green was born April 18, 1934, in Braggs and died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002 in Tahlequah. On April 19, 1952, she and Junior Ray Richmond were married in Tahlequah. A homemaker, Joyce was a member of First Baptist Church of Hulbert. In her leisure time she enjoyed fishing, tending to her flowers, going to church and being with her grandchildren. Her parents and brother, Danny Ross Green, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Junior Richmond of the home in Hulbert, six children, Jacqueline Kooker of Adrian, MO; Debra Kay Barker of Baxter Springs, KS, Janet Lynn Oates, Johnny Ray Richmond, and Danny Gearld Richmond all of Adrian, MO; and Vickie Reade of Los Angeles, Calif., eight brothers and sisters, John Green, Bob Carson Green, Robert Green, Ethalee Porter, Ann Selesti, Peggy Gray, Linda Haven and Brenda Lieneke; 14 grandchildren; and many loved ones and friends. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the First Baptist Church of Hulbert.
