OBIT: 
"Funeral services for Ruth Violet Huntley, 81, of Tahlequah OK will
be held Monday, Dec. 7, 1992 at 11:00 a.m. in the Reed-Culver Chapel. (Rev.
Harry Horner) 

Burial will follow in Caney Cemetery under the direction of Reed Culver Funeral 
Home of Tahlequah, Ok. 

Ms. Huntley was born May 18, 1911 in Vinton, Ohio, the daughter of Franklin 
Pierce and Hattie (Foster)Huntley. 

She died Thursday, Dec. 3, 1992 in Tahlequah, OK. 

She came to Cherokee County in a covered wagon about 1915 and attended school 
at Caney.

She worked as a home health care provider. 

She was preceeded in death by a daughter, Violet Lea Baughman in May 1990, 
and three brothers and two sisters. 

She is survived by two sons, Willard Huntley of Tahlequah, OK. and Stanley 
Huntley of Memphis, TN., 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Dave Fleming, Darrell Carey, Brad White, Curtis White, Danny 
Stokes, Juan Salazar, Geoffrey Huntley and Edward Bean. Songs: Going Home, 
A Wonderful Life & Mother's Only Sleeping."
