Rev. Wayne Jordan officiated. Burial followed at the Boudinot Cemetery. Shirley Ann was born December 17, 1952 in Oakdale California, the daughter of Norba Berton and Goldie (Copeland) Shrum. She passed from this life on July 16, 2002 in Springdale Arkansas. McKie's family moved to Oklahoma when she was 6 years old. She graduated from Oaks High School. She married T.J. McKie on August 8, 1971 in Payson Arizonia. They moved to the Waterfall Hollow area of Cherokee County in 1975. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, "nana" and friend. She was a loving and caring person who will be missed by many. McKie was preceded in death by her father, and a brother, Bobby. She is survived by her husband T.J. of the home; two sons and their wives, Leland McKie and wife Tina of Tahlequah and Jason McKie and wife Kristy of Fayetteville North Carolinia; her mother Goldie of Tahlequah; two brothers, J.D. Shrum of Tahlequah and Jerry Shrum of Kansas; three grandchildren, Gabriel, Machayla, and Harlie McKie; and many other friends and relatives. ************************************************************************ http://www.usgwarchives.net ************************************************************************
