Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ *************************************************************** TAHLEQUAH DAILY PRESS TAHLEQUAH, OK APRIL 23, 2002 SARAH ANN WEHRLE Park Hill--Funeral services for Sarah Ann Werhle, 61, of Park Hill, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at the Keys Baptist Church with Dr. Andy Bowman officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. at the Granby Memorial Cemetery in Granby, Mo., under the direction of Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah. Pallbearers will be Dower Combs, Dewayne Arteberry, Mike Wilcox, Clyde Enlow, Gearld Halpain and Jerry Hood. Mrs. Wehrle was born on July 20, 1940, at Neosho, Mo., the daughter of Herman Leslie and Jessie Nomi (Wilson) Tuggle, and she passed from this life on Saturday, April 20, 2002 in Tulsa. Sarah grew up around the Neosho area, graduating from Neosho High School. Sarah also graduated from Missouri Southern College in Joplin and the Missouri Law Enforcement academy. She was a reserve officer for the Newton County Sheriff. Sarah met Bob Wehrle in 1982m. They were married in Nov. 1, 1983 in Chillicothe, Mo. Shortly after being married, the couple moved to Albuquerque, N.M., and resided there until moving to Park Hill in 1992. After moving to Park Hill, Sarah worked as an accountant. She loved collecting figurines and dolls, as well as arts and crafts, cooking and watching old westerns.. She was qualified to fly twin engine aircraft in New Mexico. Sarah was active in church. She was preceded in death by her parents; tow brothers; husband Robert Wayne Guy; and one grandchild. Wehrle is survived by her husband, Bob Wehrle of the home; four sons, Robert Guy and wife Rhonda, of Goodman, Mo., Kevin Guy of Park Hill, Michael E. Wehrle and wife Rebecca of Albuquerque, N.M., and Timothy J. Wehrle and wife Ann, of Albuquerque, N.M.; four daughters, Christine K. Smith and husband Paul, of Grandview, Co., Victoria Jean Harvey and husband James, of Albuquerque, N.M., Margaret A. Gaylor of Albuquerque, N.M., and Shirley Ann Padilla and husband Bennie of Goodman, Mo.; a sister, Mable Motes of Tennessee; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as many friends and loved ones.
