Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ *************************************************************** TAHLEQUAH DAILY PRESS TAHLEQUAH, OK APRIL 18, 2002 SANDRA CYPRESS Big Cypress, Fla.--Funeral services for Sandra Masters Cypress, 48, of Big Cypress, Fla., formerly of Tahlequah, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2002, at Cedar Tree Tabernacle with Rev. Fred Lindsay and Rev. Richard Pickup officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Tree Cemetery under the direction of Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah. Pallbearers will be Larry Masters, Terry Masters, Jacob Masters, Drew Brian Prichett, Alfonso Tigertail and Joshua Jumper. Mrs Cypress, was born on Feb. 17, 1954, at Tahlequah, the daughter of Jacob Horton and Annie (Wilson) Masters, and passed from this life on April 15, 2002, in Clewiston, Fla. Sandra grew up at Briggs and attended school at Briggs and graduated from Sequoyah High School. She also attended Northeastern Oklahoma A & M at Miami. She married Jonah Cypress on Sept. 27, 1974 in Tulsa and later moved to Big Cypress, Fla. Sandra loved her grandchildren, as well as cross-stitching, teaching Sunday School and church work. Mrs. Cypress is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Darlene Murphy and Carman Masters. She is survived by her husband Jonah Cypress of the home; one son Jason Cypress and wife Katy, of Hollywood, Fla.; two daughters, Sheli Tigertail and husband Alfonso, of Clewiston, Fla., and Andrea Jumper and husband Joshua, of Big Cypress, Fla.; four brothers, Larry Masters, Jacob Masters, Terry Masters and Drew Prichett, all of Tahlequah; four sisters, Pat McClendon, Linda Dreadfulwater and Connie Prichett, all of Tahlequah, and Gina Prichett of Clewiston, Fla.; and 12 grandchildren; as well as many friends and loved ones.
