A native of Tahlequah she was born January 19, 1939 to Leonard D. Fivekiller and Lona(Potter) Fivekiller. She grew up at Porum where she began her education. She was married to Wayne Stout on April 24, 1964 in Meridian, Mississippi and made their home in California and many other states as Wayne served his country with the United States Navy. She continued her education in California earning her business degree. They made their home in Vian in the early 1970’s and Susie began working for the B.I.A. Muskogee Regional Hospital, and finally for the Muskogee Police Department where she retired after ten years as a record clerk. Her hobbies included Painting, Piano, and loved geneology. She was a longtime member of the Blackgum Baptist Church, the Art Guild, as well as the Kiwanis Kickers Dance Club. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Stout of the home; two daughters, Cathy Rae Hammonds of Vian, Sherry Gaye Wolf of Stilwell; 8 grandchildren, Michelle Hulbert, Tonya Forrest, Therresa Hammonds, Thomas Boss, Leonard Boss, Sherry Vanderpool, Justin Eaton, and Terri Hammonds; 16 great grandchildren; her mother, Lona Harper of Briartown; five sisters, Marjorie Goin of Warner, Ruth Goodner of Porum, Erma Sexton and husband, Bill of Briartown, Avo Fivekiller of Briartown, Kay Hughes and husband, Jerry of Briartown; one brother, Burt Shoemake and wife, Elanor of Philomoth, OR; a brother-in-law, Bill Goodner of Lawton. She is preceded in death by a son, Darryl Stout; her father, Leonard Fivekiller; a sister, Betty Goodner; a great granddaughter, Kassie Forrest. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 11, 2007 at the Blackgum Baptist Church with Reverend Bob Shoemake and Reverend Dale Ritter officiating. Burial will follow at Coleman Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
