Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. *************************************************************** TAHLEQUAH DAILY PRESS TAHLEQUAH, OK MARCH 22, 2002 THEO FRANKLIN "BUD" MORRIS Tahlequah-Funeral services for Theo Franklin "Bud" Morris, 80, of Tahlequah will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2003 at the Reed-Culver Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Campbell officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at the Tahlequah City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Reed-Culver Funeral Home. Visitation will be 12 to 9 p.m. Saturday, 1-9 Sunday, and 9a.m.-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers include Ken Johnson, Les Kelley, Mark Schultz, Richard Bertelle, Jack Reavis and Tommy Hix. Honary pallbearers are Joe Suess, John Cooper, Joe Scrivner and Stan Farabee. Theo Franklin "Bud" Morris was born Feb. 7, 1922 in Kingfisher, the son Amos Augustus and Bonnie Jessie (Evans) Morris and passed from this life on March 18, 2002 in Medesto, Calif. Bud grew up in Calumet and moved to Inola when he was 15. He served in the U.S. Army and the Merchant Marines during World War II. Bud was married to Reba Nila Wade Nov. 10, 1956. They lived in Los Angeles, Calif., where Bud worked in construction. They moved to Tahlequah in 1974. Bud worked for the City of Tahlequah Street Department, retiring in 1988. He attended the Grace Baptist Church. Bud was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Reba, in 1995; and his brother Clyde Morris. He is survived by his sister, Audrea Ford of Ceres, Calif.; and his brother Cecil Morris of Modesto, CAlif. Memorial contributions may be made to AA or Al-Anon, 812 Ward St., Tahlequah, OK. 74464
