Perry Services for William R. Perry, 64, of the Hungry Mountain Community will be 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, in the Barber Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Duvall. Serving as pallbearers are Jeremy Latta, Matt Gourd, Denton Gourd, Brett Manus, Luke Hawley and Dexter Scott. Interment will follow in the Caney Cemetery in the neighboring community cemetery at Tailholt. William Perry was born on July 8, 1941, at Barber, Okla., the son of William E. and Helen V. Blackman Perry. Other than time lived on Stickross Mountain, William was a lifelong resident of the Hungry Mountain Community where he attended Hungry Mountain School. On Oct 6, 1962, he wed Irene Payne in Tahlequah. William liked to coonhunt and spend time at home. He died on Nov. 10, at his residence, losing his battle with illness. William was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving him are his wife, Irene, of the home; children Tammy Latta, Samantha Gourd, Catherine Fatheree and husband, David, Danny R. Perry and wife, Shanna, and William E. Perry and wife, Katrina, all of Welling; grandchildren Candice Fagan, Jeremy Latta, Sabrina Drain, Dennice, Denton, Matthew and Mallory Gourd, Bret Manus, Devin Fatheree, Austin and Cody Shane Perry, Montana and Wyatt Camp, McKinzie and Brae Perry, and Alan Hawley; three great-grandchildren Britlee Fagan, and Kaleb and Konnley Drain; a brother, Harley Davis and his wife, Marjorie; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, as well as a host of other friends and loved ones.
