All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Mt Olivet Cemetery--Hugo OK Earl E Ballard Funeral services for Earl E Ballard will be held Friday in Lampton- Mills & Coffey Chapel at 10 a.m. Mr. Ballard died Tuesday in Paris, Texas. He was 79. He was a retired U.S. Army Sgt. Major and had served as Choctaw County Sheriff. He was a member of the American Legion, Hugo Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Hugo Bass CLub. Mr Ballard was a veteran of oth World War II and Korea. He was born Feb. 18, 1913 in Ft. Towson to Merida and Lessie Whitton Balalrd. He married Mona Knight April 14, 1941. Mr. Ballard is survived by his wife, Mona Ballard of Hugo; one son Earl E. Balalrd Jr. of Hugo; one sister, Juanita Trantham of Hugo; six nieces and seven nephews. Rev. Dominic Duggins will officiate the services. Mr. Balalrd will be buried in Mt.
