Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Westlawn Cemetery in Borger with Dr. David Jones, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. A native of Hugo, Okla., Mr. Calder was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a former resident of the Dallas area, Borger, Amarillo and Alaska where he was a construction worker. In Alaska, he was a member of the Pipe Fitters and Plumbers Union No. UA367. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a son, David Calder of Borger; two brothers, Dr. John Robert Calder of Milsap and Dr. Carol David Calder of Eugene, Ore.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 200 N. McGee, Borger, TX 79007.
