"Bullock" Hayslip, 56, Coalgate died Friday June 23, 2000 at Carl Albert Indian Hospital in Ada. Born at Hugo on Nov. 22, 1943, she was the daughter of Lewis G. & Opal Alene "COLLEY" Bullock. She was a student at Davenport and was grauduated from Stroud High School. She attended nurshing school in OKC. She worked many years as a nurse's aide. She married Joe C. Hayslip in Antlers in 1986. He preceded her in death. Her daughter, Karla McGUIRE also preceded her in death. Burial was in Springs Chapel Cemetery at Hugo. Survivors include five children: Kevin and wife Rene, OH; Kim FEATHERSTON and husband of Coalgate; Deeann STRICKLAND & husband of Caddo; Kelly TRAMMELL and husband of Greenville, TN; her mother, Opal COGBURN, OKC; 10 grandchildren; one sister, Beverly BISHOP, OKC; brother Charles MOONEY of Jones; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends. Funeral services were held at 10 a. m. June 27 at Pleasant View Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Victor Cook, assisted by Rev. Kevin McGuire. Honorary Pallbearers were the staff and employees of Carl Albert Hospital; her brother Charles Mooney and all her nephews. Active pallbearers were Kevin McGuire, Hoey Hayslip, Nick Strickland, David Strickland, jimmy Featherston and Jonnie Trammel.
