She was born June 23, 1912, in Ft. Towsen, Oklahoma to Tom and Mary (Story) Lee. Rose was a member of Exchange Avenue Baptist Church. Her greatest love was being with and raising her family. She enjoyed the outdoors working in her garden. Rose is survived by three sons, Jim Hawkins and wife Ann of Gardener Ville, Nevada, Sam Hawkins of Oklahoma City, and Ben Hawkins and wife Patsy of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Suzy Turner and husband Peter of Oklahoma City; one brother, Clarence Lee of Grand Prairie, Texas; nineteen grandchildren; and thirty-three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Allen F. Hawkins on January 8, 2001; one son, Ron Hawkins on September 3, 1994; two brothers, Jack Lee and Cooter Lee; and one sister, Mary Lee. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., July 15, 2002 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
