Willie Mae Hignight

LAKEVIEW - Willie Mae "Bill" Hignight, 85, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 1997.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First United Methodist Church in 
Lakeview with the Rev. Jeff Taylor, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in 
Fairview Cemetery in Memphis by Myers-Long Funeral Directors of Turkey and 
Spicer Funeral Home of Memphis.

Mrs. Hignight was born in Texarkana, Ark.

She married William C. "Red" Hignight in 1934 at Hugo, Okla. He died in 
1992.

Survivors include a son, Shelby Hignight of Tecumseh, Mich.; a sister, 
Lucille Reed of Bastrop; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to Cemetery Association in Lakeview or 
Memphis.
