All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Mount Olivet Ceemtery--Ft Worth TX Holley, John Charles John Holley, 65, a former Arlington locksmith, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at a Choctaw, Okla., hospital. Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Olive Funeral Home chapel, officiated by Danny Bates. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: was Sunday. Mr. Holley was born Feb. 17, 1941, in Hugo, Okla., the son of Bill Holley and Anna Sassamon. He lived more than 30 years in Arlington, where he owned Arlington Lock & Key Service, Holley's Lock & Key and ABC Locksmith Service. He also owned a hardware store in Mineola. He loved animals, fishing, woodworking, playing dominoes and jewelry- making. He made the best homemade ice cream ever for his grandchildren. Mr. Holley was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Bridges, in 1999; his parents; and a brother, James Hubert Holley. Survivors: Wife, Judy Holley of Hugo; daughters, Kim Smith of Burleson and Lory and husband, Calvin Powers of Arlington; son-in- law, Bryan Bridges of Tyler; sisters, Joyce Forbus and Sue Forbus, both of Hugo, and Ruth Leeth of Coos Bay, Ore.; brothers, Leroy Holley of Arlington and Carlos Ray Holley of Henderson; grandchildren, Breanne Bridges, Brittany Bridges, both of Tyler, Chantay Alvey of Alvarado, Bailey Smith and Emily Smith, both of Burleson; great-grandchildren, Joey Alvey, Trinity Alvey and Peyton Alvey, all of Alvarado.
