Knight, 62 Services for J.T. Knight, 62, Durant, who passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma, will be held Monday, October 25, 2004, at Brown's Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Bro. Mark Wesley will officiate. J.T. was born August 7, 1942, in Sunkist to Louie and Oreene (Booth) Knight. He attended Matoy Schools. He was an inspector for Libby-Owens Ford. J.T. married Sandra Caskey in Oklahoma City on October 27, 1964. He enjoyed gardening, tending to his chickens, hunting and fishing. J.T. was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents Louie and Oreene Knight; and his grandparents, John and Elizabeth Knight and William and Sudie Booth. J.T. is survived by his wife, Sandra of Durant; three daughters, Sonya and Timmy Garrett of Durant, Meashele Knight of Durant, and Shana and Mark Harris of Dallas, Texas; a son Larry Jay Knight of Durant; grandchildren, Chris and Traci Garrett, Jay Garrett of Durant, Michael Harris, Lily Harris, Sammie Harris and Laura Harris all of Dallas; brothers Larry Knight and Carrol Knight, both of Bennington; and sister Marlene Knight of Durant. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Calera with Harley Cross, Brent Manners, Marvin Polson, Clint Knight, Bradley Knight, Mark Harris and Donald Harris serving as pallbearers. There is not a scheduled family hour. Brown's will be open from 1p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 24, for visitation.
