(1911 - 1998) THE PARIS NEWS, Thu., May 21, 1998, p. 4B: Winfred L. Lee, 86, of Paris died Tuesday, May 19, 1998, at Paris Nursing Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 22, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randall Scott and the Rev. Lorenzo Johns officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Lee was born Nov. 3, 1911, in Milton, Texas, to Mitchell and Myrtle Ferguson Lee. He was a longtime employee of the Coca-Cola and Dr. Pepper Bottling Co. and retired from R.C. Cola and Seven-Up Bottling Companies. He was top salesman one year while working for Seven-Up. He was also a longtime employee of Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he was ordained as a deacon in 1949. He married Doris Eaton Nov. 15, 1930, in Hugo. OK. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Sarah Lee of Paris and Kay Biggers and husband Ron of Chattanooga, TN; four granddaughters, Stephanie Davis and husband John of Covington, KY, Melissa Locke and husband Greg of Somerville, AL, and Melanie and Miriam Biggers of Chattanooga, TN; and a nephew, Dave Rodgers of Paris.
