Lloyd, 93 of Phoenix, AZ, born in Spencerville, OK, went to be with our Lord on April 13, 2007. Lena is survived by her three sons, Sam, Bob and Bill, their wives and children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lena loved the Lord and was blessed by many friends and family. She loved being with friends. She was a people person. Lena was from a family of three sisters and three brothers. She has only one surviving sibling, Theda Cotton of Paris, TX. Lena was involved in many activities, church, Sunday school teacher, homemaker, factory worker and music. Upon her retirement and caring for our handicapped Dad until his death in 1987, she went back to her love of music and dancing. She played the piano, not reading a note, but playing by ear which she learned at the age of three. She loved to play the keyboard and with her friend Ray Casias who plays guitar formed the "Happynotes." They played at nursing homes, senior centers and churches in the Phoenix area for several years. Lena's caring, thoughtful, unselfish and friendly personality will always be remembered by those who knew her. Lena is looking forward to seeing her family, loved ones and friends who too loved our Lord. May God truly bless a fine lady, Our Mom. The family wishes to thank Sun Grove Village and Affinity Hospice for her special care. Visitation will be Thurs. April 19, 2007 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Phoenix Memorial Mortuary Chapel, 200 W. Beardsley Rd., Phoenix, AZ. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Phoenix Memorial Park.
