All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.html ========================================================================== Fort Worth Star-Telegram 7 Aug 2005 Billie Underwood (Barrow) Nichols 1920 - 2005 Billie Barrow Underwood Nichols, 84, passed into a new life Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005, surrounded by her family. Memorial service: 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Chapel, Kevin Rutledge officiating. Mrs. Nichols was born into this life, Oct. 20, 1920, in Boswell, Okla., to J.A. "Jack" and Iona Merle Barrow. A lifelong resident of the Fort Worth area, Mrs. Nichols was a resident of River Oaks from 1944 until moving to Lakeside in 1971. She worked as an offset printer for Stafford-Lowdon Company of Fort Worth until retiring in 1977. Throughout her life, most all of her attention was focused on her family and the ones she loved. Although her pecan and chocolate pies were sweet, there was nothing sweeter than her love. She will be sorely missed but eternally rewarded. Mrs. Nichols was preceded in death by her first husband, Oliver G. "Sock" Underwood; her son, Milton Clark Underwood; her husband, Leon Nichols; her sisters, Norine Brown and Faye Barrow; and a brother, Morris Barrow. Survivors: Son, Wayne S. Underwood of Fort Worth; daughter, Linda Underwood Hardman and husband, Tom of Fort Worth; daughter-in-law, Kay Underwood of Fort Worth; sisters, Dorothy Mow Fleming and husband, Phillip of Azle, Jo Ann Guess of Saginaw and Kathleen Barrow of Oregon; brothers, Loyd Barrow and wife, Sybil of Paris, Larry Wolfe and wife, Sammie of Springtown, and Judge Barrow and wife, Bonnie of Oroville, Calif.; grandsons, William Luck and Paula Bagwell of Fort Worth, David Underwood and wife, Valerie of Fort Worth, Timothy Hardman and wife, Christina of Fort Worth and Jonathan W.
