All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Westlawn Memorial Park--Borger TX Kibbie Salmon BORGER - Kibbie Salmon, 88, of Soper, Okla., a former resident of Borger, died Thursday, May 6, 1999, at Grand Prairie. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel at Borger with the Rev. Calvin Newton, pastor of First Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Good Shepherd at Westlawn Memorial Park in Borger. Mr. Salmon was born in Pecan Gap and moved to Dallas in 1969 from Borger. He was an operator for J.M. Huber before retiring from the Dallas Independent School District. He moved to Soper in 1981. He married Nancy Marie Riggs in 1933. She died in 1991. He also was preceded in death by a son, Larry Dean Salmon, in 1979. Survivors include five sons, Robert Donald Salmon of Fritch, Herb Salmon of Mesquite, J.R. Salmon of Grand Prairie, Roy Salmon of Alvarado, and Billy Floyd Salmon of St. Louis, Mo.; two daughters, Betty Hawley of Borger and Jean Hess of Grand Prairie; a sister, Viola Tiffie of Honey Grove; 21 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
