Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Jerry Thomas of North Beacon Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, weather permitting. Mrs. Sherrill was born Oct. 5, 1917, in Boswell, Okla., to Robert Lee Fort and Susie Mae Stanifer Fort. She was a dietitian manager during her working years. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Honorable Judge Jessie Sherrill, in 1972. Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Lindsey of Amarillo; a sister, Irene Page, of Amarillo; two brothers, Eugene Fort of California, and Chuck Fort of Arizona; a grandson, Steven Church of Amarillo; a niece, Shirley Cochran of Amarillo; and a nephew, Ken Page of Carlsbad, N.M. The family will be at 2803 Bagarry. The family suggests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice.
