She was one of ten children born to Nellie and Henry Crabb. Karon had 6 children, Mike, Henry and Bill Darity, Vivian Jones, Margaret Gervais and May Ann Knox. She has left behind many loved ones, friends, grandchildren and great grandchildren who referred to her as "feisty Nana." She was a delight to all who knew her. Karon went home to be with the Lord on August 24, 2003, with many physical challenges but when she stepped over to be with her Savior, she received a new body free from pain. Karon loved the Lord. She thoroughly enjoyed going to church and fellowshipping with the people. It brought pleasure to her just to take little gifts to the children to see them smile. Karon loved music. She would entertain friends and family by playing the harmonica. She enjoyed singing and listening to gospel music. She also loved sharing with friends and family about her past experiences and giving words of advice and encouragement. Karon would share her love of the Lord and all He had done for her with everyone. We will miss her terribly. Her departure has left an emptiness in our hearts but we know this separation is only temporary for we know we will be together again one day. A memorial honoring Karon will be on Saturday, Sept. 13, located at His Refreshing Presence, 5880 District Blvd., at 11:00 a.m. Good night my precious little mother. We love you. We'll see you in the morning. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Choctaw County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/choctaw/choctaw.html
