ADLFINGER April 5, 1910 - March 6, 2001 Mildred Lea Brite Hinkle Adlfinger of Grand Junction, CO passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2001 at her home. A funeral service was at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2001 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2949 US Hwy 50, Grand Junction. Burial was in Grand Junction Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Adlfinger was a retired cook and business owner. She was born April 5, 1910 to Alfred Howard Brite and Onia Alfareta Fry Brite on the Brite Ranch in Cimarron County, OK where she spent her childhood. She attended schools in Boise City, OK. She moved to the Western Slope in 1946. She was married to Stirling B. Morris, W. Clay Hinkle and George J. Adlfinger. They are deceased. Mrs. Adlfinger was a foster grandparent. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafts and reading. Survivors include a son, Raymond and wife Shirley Morris of Kelso, WA; a daughter, Evaline and husband Lot Robinson of Grand Junction, CO; a foster daughter, Jan and husband Ed Eliason of Greeley, CO; 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. A son, Henry Hinkle preceded her in death. McLean Funeral Home, Fuita, was in charge of arrangements.
