Armstrong BOISE CITY, Okla. - Keith O. Armstrong, 77, died Monday, Feb. 16, 1998. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with Harold James and Derek Cox officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Kingston Cemetery at Kingston. Arrangements are by Cimarron Mortuary. Mr. Armstrong was born near Des Moines, N.M. He moved with his family to Whitesboro, Texas, and later to Shay, where he attended school. He graduated from high school at Kingston. He married Muriel Lancaster in 1940 at Tishomingo. Mr. Armstrong served with Patton's Third Army during World War II in the European Theater. After being honorably discharged, he and his family lived in Kingston. They moved to Cimarron County in 1946. He farmed near the Texas state line for many years. He and his family then moved into Boise City, where he worked as a brick mason. Mr. Armstrong was preceded in death by a daughter, Jerry Fran Armstrong. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jordan Armstrong of Sunset, Utah, Edward Armstrong of Boise City and Bruce Armstrong of Oklahoma; three brothers, Ray Armstrong and Irwin Armstrong, both of Kingston, and Lelan Armstrong of Casper, Wyo.; a sister, Imogene Scott of Boise City; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
