Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Field officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Branner was born in Boise City, Okla., in 1914 to J.C. and Mary Branner. The family moved to Amarillo and he graduated from Amarillo High School in 1932. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific in New Guinea as a Tech Sgt. in the Air Force. Mr. Branner married Callie Allen in 1946 in Clovis, N.M. He worked for International Paper Co. and retired in 1980. He liked all sports and liked horse racing very much. Survivors include his wife; a sister, Madeline Malacara of Amarillo; and several nieces and nephews.
