Alice Oleta Brown GEORGETOWN - Alice Oleta Scott Brown, 84, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Paul's United Methodist Church at Boise City, Okla. Burial will be in Marella Cemetery by Cimarron Mortuary of Boise City. Mrs. Brown was born in San Jon, N.M., and lived most of her life in Cimarron County, Okla. She married Harvey Carlile Brown in 1934 at Tucumcari, N.M. They farmed in the Griggs community for 26 years. In 1960, they moved to Boise City where they owned and operated the Townsman Motel. She was a member of Marella Methodist Church and, in Boise City, she became a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. After moving to Georgetown 13 years ago, she became a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include three daughters, Aletha Skelley, Nora Long and Barbara Smith; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Cimarron Mortuary until 9:30 a.m. Thursday. The family requests memorials be to a favorite charity c/o Cimarron Mortuary at Boise City.
