She was 91. Buller was born Jan. 8, 1914, in Garrett, Okla., to Julius and Minnie Shugart Kohler. She married Jake Buller in Wichita, Kan., on July 4, 1940. He died in 1999. She lived in Halstead, Kan., and Long Beach, Calif., before moving to Eugene 45 years ago. She graduated from high school in Wichita and completed two years at a business college. Buller built airplanes at McDonald Douglas in Long Beach during World War II. She later worked as a meat wrapper at Safeway for many years. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with her family. Survivors include a son, Greg of Eugene; two brothers, Paul and Robert Kohler, both of Boise City, Okla.; a sister, Era Gegen of Broken Arrow, Okla.; and four grandchildren. A son, Michael, died in 1969. A private graveside service will be held Wednesday. Poole-Larsen Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.
