Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. today in Lakeview United Methodist Church in Dalhart with Ed Peckham officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. (MST) Saturday in Springfield Cemetery in Springfield, Colo., with Ralph Wade officiating. Arrangements are by Cimarron Mortuary. Mrs. Ellis was born April 3, 1953, in Lamar, Colo. She married Vernon Jay Ellis on Feb. 6, 1970, in Springfield. Survivors include two daughters, Katina Ellis of Amarillo, Texas, and Shelley Bailey of Dalhart; her mother, Ann Wade of Springfield; two brothers, Dennis Wade of Cherokee and James Wade of Boise City; and a sister, Elsa Bocock of Boise City. The family suggests memorials be to Walsh Health Care Center in Walsh or Southeasten Colorado Health Care of Springfield, and may be sent to the mortuary, P.O. Box 277, Boise City, OK 73933.
