Flora Godown

BOISE CITY, Okla. - Flora Godown, 98, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 1997.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Boise City First Baptist Church 
with Tom Milbern officiating. Graveside services will be at noon 
Tuesday in Mennonite Brethren Cemetery at Hillsboro, Kan. Arrangements 
are by Cimarron Mortuary in Boise City.
Mrs. Godown was born in Hillsboro.
She married Roy A. Godown in 1921 at Hillsboro. He died in 1977.
The couple moved to Boise City and ran a creamery and restaurant. 
They also operated the mercantile for 21 years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Garden Club, and the 
Bridge Club, all of Boise; and the Order of the Eastern Star, Texhoma 
Chapter, No. 46.
Survivors include a daughter, Helen Judd of Stratford; two grandchildren;
four great-grandchildren; and seven greatgreat-grandchildren.
