Vernon Gustin

DALHART - Vernon Gustin, 89, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 1998.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park 
Cemetery by Hass Funeral Home of Dalhart.

Mr. Gustin was born in Galatia, Kan., and moved to Dalhart in 1923. 
He grew up in the Rhem community where he later farmed and raised 
cattle. He was a member of the Central United Methodist Church, 
served on the school board and the Hartley County ASC board for four 
years. He moved to Dalhart less than a year ago.

He married Lucille Dulaney in 1931 at Boise City, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, James and Jerry Gustin of 
Dalhart; a daughter, Norma Gustin Rose of Levelland; five 
grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.
