All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Independence Cemetery--Vinson OK Stanley Glenn Harper BOISE CITY, Okla. - Stanley Glenn Harper, 82, died Wednesday, May 20, 1998. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Independence Cemetery at Vinson. Arrangements are by Cimarron Mortuary. Mr. Harper was born in Harmon County. He attended school at Carl and Altus, where he graduated from high school. In 1937, he moved to California and worked in the orchards and in the trucking business. He moved back to Oklahoma in 1941 and worked as a drilling superintendent for Haliburton and Jackson and Jackson Drilling Co. Mr. Harper moved to Boise City in 1969. He worked at the 66 Truck Stop and then at the high school until retiring. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Duncan. Mr. Harper was preceded in death by a son, Larry Harper. Survivors include a son, Dale Harper of Boise City; a brother, Dave Harper of Boise City; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-greatgrandson. The family requests memorials be to the American Cancer Society c/o Cimarron Mortuary.
