Richard Hitchings

BOISE CITY, Okla. -- Richard Lynn Hitchings, 62, died Saturday, Aug. 
21, 2004.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Plainview School in Griggs 
Community, Okla., with Del Watkins, Danny Wiley and Jay Sparks 
officiating. Burial will be in Marella Cemetery by Cimarron Mortuary.

Richard was born July 18, 1942, in Dalhart. He married Hazel Wiley on 
Aug. 28, 1960, in Keyes, Okla.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Hitchings.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Todd Hitchings of Griggs 
Community; two daughters, Laurie Davis of Griggs Community and Lisa 
Guest of Dalhart; his parents, Maurice and Myrle Hitchings of Keyes; 
a sister, Nancy Barnes of Boise City; nine grandchildren; and one 
great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials be to the Marella United Methodist 
Church, Marella Cemetery or the Cimarron Memorial Hospital.
