Georgia Ruby Houts

BOISE CITY, Okla. - Georgia Ruby Houts, 80, died Monday, Oct. 26, 
1998.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Church of Christ of Boise 
City. Burial will follow in Boise City Cemetery by Cimarron Mortuary.

Mrs. Houts was born in Oak Union, Texas, and moved to Boise City when 
she was 6 months old. She was raised by her aunt and uncle who she 
lived with until their deaths. In 1937, she graduated from Boise City 
High School and continued to work on the family farm.

She married Raymond Houts in 1954 at Clayton, N.M. She farmed with 
her husband and was a member of the Church of Christ in Boise City.

Survivors include her husband; and a brother, Pac King of Vernon, 
Texas.

The family suggests memorials be to Black Mesa Bible Camp or the 
Amarillo Children's Home. Memorials may be left in care of the 
mortuary.
