Robert Eugene Jacobs

FELT, Okla. - Robert "Bob" Eugene Jacobs, 80, died Tuesday, March 17, 
1998.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Felt United Methodist Church 
with Billy Rammage officiating. Burial will be in Bertrand Cemetery 
by Cimarron Mortuary of Boise City.

Mr. Jacobs was born in Felt and raised in the Bertrand area. He 
married Matie Bell Fedric in 1935 at Stratford, Texas. They moved to 
Kerrick, Texas, and later to Stratford, Texas.

Mr. Jacobs farmed and worked in a welding shop. He later opened his 
own welding shop and Moline Implement Dealer. He sold his welding 
shop to his son, Don, and he sold out his implement dealership before 
moving to Felt in the 1970s.

He was a member of Felt United Methodist Church and the Felt Fire 
Department.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1994.

Survivors include two sons, Don Jacobs of Edgemont, S.D., and Gary 
Jacobs of Felt; two daughters, Kay Payne of Stratford and Reta Zak of 
Amarillo; a brother, Loyd Jacobs of Felt; 11 grandchildren; and 15 
great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to the Cimarron County EMT 
scholarship fund.
