Mary Morrine Jones
BOISE CITY, Okla. - Mary Morrine Jones, 75, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1997.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Church of Christ with Don Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in Boise City Cemetery by Cimarron Mortuary.
Mrs. Jones was born in Teresita, Okla. She was raised in and around Tahlequah in Cherokee County, where she attended school.
She married Stanley Jones in 1944 at Wagoner. They moved to Boise City in 1945 and worked on the Godown Ranch. She also worked in the Swan Cafe and Townsman Cafe for several years. She then worked at the Coly's Grocery Store and later in the dietary department at Cimarron Memorial Hospital until retiring.
Mrs. Jones was a past member of Free Will Baptist Church of Boise City. She attended the Pentecostal Church of Boise City.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Stanley Dale Jones of Dalhart, Texas, and Raymond Darrell Jones of Boise City; two daughters, Marlene Clifton and Rita Montgomery, both of Boise City; a brother, Toy McClelland of Tahlequah; a sister, Ethel Davis of Fresno, Calif.; and 11 grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to the Cimarron County EMS, the Boise City Senior Citizens Association or a favorite charity. Memorials may be left in care of the mortuary.
