All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Kenton Cemetery--Kenton OK Curtis Dean Loftis BOISE CITY, Okla. - Curtis Dean Loftis, 53, died Saturday, May 15, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Cimarron Mortuary Chapel with Frank Lynch officiating. Burial will be in Kenton Cemetery in Kenton, Okla. Mr. Loftis was born in Carlsbad, N.M., and attended high school in both Tularosa, N.M., and Cloudcroft, N.M. He received certification as a welder at New Mexico State University. In Weed, N.M., he worked at Logging Woods as a heavy equipment operator. In Carlsbad, he worked in the oil fields and was a driller and transport driver from 1974 until 1993. He married Nancy Capansky in 1968 at Boise City. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Curtis Duane Loftis and Aaron Brent Loftis, both of Boise City; a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Chadwick of Clyde; his mother, Nettie Loftis of Carlsbad; two brothers, Ernest Loftis of Carlsbad and Terry Loftis of Weed; four sisters, Billie Jean Driver and Mildred Mills, both of Carlsbad, Patricia Pike of Ruidoso, N.M. and Sherry Holden of Laurel, Miss; and seven grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the Pentecostal Holiness Church or the Cimarron Mortuary.
