Cecil Miller

Cecil Miller, 72, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, March 4, 1997.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Trinity Fellowship with Phil Mercado officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St.
Mr. Miller was born in Keyes, Okla. He was a member of the First Methodist Church at Keyes. He had been a production foreman for Coastal Oil and Gas Co. for 30 years.
He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a square dance club and the National Rifle Association.
He married Bettye June Mitchell in 1951 at Clayton, N.M.
Survivors include his wife; a son, James Miller of Fabens; a daughter, Kathey Powell of Amarillo; a sister, Rosa Van Tassel of Idalia, Colo.; a brother, Frank Miller of Greenbrier, Ark.; and four grandchildren.
The family will be at 5802 Stone Drive.
