He passed away March 2, 2007 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 53 years and 5 days. Lynn moved with his family to Cheyenne in 1958. After graduating from Cheyenne High School in 1972, Lynn left Cheyenne to do seismograph work for several years. In 1975, lynn returned to Cheyenne and helped with the construction for the new Cheyenne School building. Lynn later joined the Cheyenne Police Department as an officer and also served as Chief. After leaving the police department, he worked several jobs until oprening his own business on the west side of Cheyenne, Moler's 66 Service Station. He later relocated the business closer to his home on the east side of Cheyenne. Lynn married Cindy Chapman in 1976 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. A son, Jeremy, was born to them later that year. On March 14, 1981 Lynn married Laurie Parvin in Cheyenne, Oklahoma and they were blessed with two children, Annie who was born in 1983 and J.R., who was born in 1989. Lynn was a member of the Blackketter Round Up Club where he helped with the Memorial Day Rodeo for numberous years.! Besides Lynn's love for playing softball, he also coached his wife and sisters. Boy, what a job that was! He lended a hand to the 4-H club whenever they needed help with their horse shows. Lynn found joy in helping kids prepare their pigs for their yearly shows. He also enjoyed spending evening at the arena riding horses and roping with his family. Lynn was a member of the Cheyenne First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and a nephew, Gary Wayne Sanderford. Survivors include 3 children: Jeremy Moler and wife Twila, of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Annie Coffin and husband, Jason, of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; J.R. Moler, of Hammon, Oklahoma, 3 grandchildren, Teagon and Jera Moler, Jaci Coffin and 1 grandchild on the way; his parents H.R. and Norma Moler, of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 7 brothers and sisters: Vickie Sanderford and husband, Jim, of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Dick Moler qand wife Wilma, of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; R.C. Moler and wife, Julie of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Bob Moler and wife, Traysha, of Elk City, Oklahoma; Frank Moler and wife Rita, of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Lucy Banks and husband, Mike, of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Terri Barton and husband Greg, of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were held Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. at the Cheyenne School Auditorium officiated by Andy Taylor and Larry Parvin. Burial will be at Cheyenne Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral service.
