Amarillo Globe News 6 Apr 1997 Edith Pugh KEYES, Okla., - Edith Pugh, 99, died Thursday, April 3, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Keyes Church of Christ with John Henley officiating. Burial will be at Baker Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cimarron Mortuary of Boise City. Mrs. Pugh was born in Lincoln, Mo. She moved with her family to Oklahoma in 1907. She married Craig Pugh in 1914 at Griggs. They moved to Illinois in 1937 during the Dust Bowl days. They moved back to Griggs in 1945. They lived in Griggs until 1968. She moved to Keyes after her husband died. She lived in Keyes until 1996. She then moved into the Cimarron Nursing Home in Boise City. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1968, a daughter, Wanda Pugh, and an infant son. Survivors include three sons, Charles E. Pugh and Mace D. Pugh, both of Keyes, and Craigie Pugh of Purcell; a brother, Paul Hanes of Bluejacket; a sister, Nona Cannon of San Diego; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Christian Family Services of the Midwest.
