All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Boise City Cemetery--Boise City OK Gene Wall Richardson BOISE CITY, Okla. - Gene Wall Richardson, 75, died Monday, July 5, 1999. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church of Boise City with Derek Cox and David George officiating. Burial will be in Boise City Cemetery by Cimarron Mortuary of Boise City. Mr. Richardson was born in Forgan and moved to Cimarron County when he was 5. He attended school in Felt until the family moved to Boise City. At the end of his junior year, he enlisted with the Army to serve in World War II. While in the service, Mr. Richardson was crew chief and aerial engineer and attained the rank of sergeant. After his discharge, Mr. Richardson returned to Boise City where he was employed for companies including Reeding and Bates and Noble Drilling Co. He also owned and operated the Cozy Cafe, was in the dry cleaning business and was a truck driver. He married Reta Fisher in 1947 at Clayton, N. M. She died in 1997. Survivors include his children, Sandy Wells and Pam Thrall, both of Boise City, Mike Richardson of Guymon, Rod Richardson of Gardnerville, Nev., and Deb Crabtree; and 16 grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center and may be left in care of the mortuary.
