Vivian B. Richardson
Vivian Barton Richardson, 76, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 1997.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Coulter Road Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Payne of the church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.
Mrs. Richardson was born in Pretty Prairie, Kan. She moved to Amarillo in 1966 from Keyes, Okla.
She married Garner W. "Rich'' Richardson in 1946 at Raton, N.M.
Mrs. Richardson graduated from school in Hutchinson, Kan. She was a self-employed beautician and a member of various bridge clubs, the Amarillo Senior Citizens Association and Coulter Road Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sondra "Sandy'' Milford, in 1993.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Diane York and Jackie Ashlock, both of Amarillo, and Linda Newell of Pampa; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
